THE DARBY SCHOOLHOUSE WAY

We at Darby Schoolhouse believe that Do-It-Yourselfers (DIYs) can Do It Themselves. We believe there is nothing so satisfying as taking responsibility for your own life and participating fully in your story. This is especially true when you are fulfilling dreams and meeting needs that center on family and home. We also believe that no one is capable of accomplishing all that is before them without help. That is the beauty of a community made up of neighbors that care about each other and are willing to share life. Each one gives and receives; by that synergy, a community is able to thrive and each person in it as well.

In community, our mission is to use our experience, expertise and effort to train, educate and mentor DIYs in their endeavors to build or remodel. We also work to connect expert craftsmen with those same DIYs to help them with aspects of their projects that they don’t want to tackle themselves. By offering what we have along with other experts in a relational environment, we believe we will encourage the growth and strength of a community that will benefit its participants in ways far beyond getting a project built.
